i would have refused to pay and told anyone who doesnt like it to fuck off. 55k can change a persons life, like a friend or family member. I'm not gonna throw it away on a bunch of pigs trying to be funny at my expense. This is why half these guys have nothing when they leave the game. I heard Scottie pippen was broke, lol. He was making over 10 mil per year i think and he's broke? 8.3 mil doesnt last very long when you have to pay taxes, expenses, hook up your family and pay this kind of shit.

I agree for the most part. The rookie hazing of carrying the vets' stuff is intended to instill some humility in those cocky little bastards. Given his attitude- being "above" carrying another man's pads, he could use a healthy LARGE dose of some of that humility stuff.
