We Bears fans complain about the lack of respect for our 3-0 team but compared the Chiefs the Bears are viewed as a veritable dynasty. People laugh at the Chiefs. "The (snicker) 3-0 Chiefs, are they for real (snort)?"
I say that's unfair to the Chiefs. Sure it's hard to believe at this point that they are Super Bowl contenders given how they've fared in the last, um, decade. But I say they deserve some respect as contenders in the AFC West. First, they have a lead. Second, they don't have much competition. They might end up like last year's Broncos (right Mikey?) but they have to be taken seriously division because, third, they have some talent.
They have a good running back, a good WR, a good returner/back/WR, some good, or at least creative, coaching, and they are catching people by surprise.
So before we complain about the way our Bears are treated, lets think of the poor Chiefs.
Thoughts?
