    Shawne 'roids Merriman placed on IR...

    this is what happens when you 'roid out.. never the same when not on the Roids and much more likely to get injured..

    Adam_Schefter Chargers placed linebacker Shawne Merriman on Reserve-Injured with a calf injury.

    Adam_Schefter This means Merriman must be released by the team when he becomes healthy. Career in SD over.

    and then probably released b/c since he got off the juice he hasn't been the same.....lights never seemed to get turned back on after that suspension.
