A Reading from the First Letter of Ditka to Sterger.

And Da Coach said unto da bimbo Jenn Sterger,

“I’m not going to be as sympathetic to the woman as a lot of people are,” Ditka said. “It’s two years after the fact. Cut it out, you know? If you had a problem, you could have said it back then.”

Ditka, appearing on the Dan Lebatard show in Miami went on to say:

"You don’t have to pull it up when when you’re going to have a spread in Playboy or you’re going to have a Monday night game coming up,” he said. “I’m old-fashioned.”

Sterger posed in Playboy in 2006 while she attended Florida State University.

Le Batard continued with Ditka: “So, no sympathy?”

“None. Zero. Absolutely zero,” Ditka responded. “Now, you’ll get some calls about that, but frankly I could care less.”

Le Batard: “But it is sexual harassment, Mike.”

“I don’t know about that,” Ditka said. “If it’s sexual harassment, if it’s not reported until two years after the fact. I really don’t, I’ll be honest with you.”

After ending the interview, Le Batard said: “I think Mike Ditka just got himself in trouble.”

I had no idea this was some shit that went down two years ago....

WTF??? Then why bring it up so long AFTER the fact?? what does she gain from it???....

this is stereotypical, dumb bitch right here. Way to go Coach. I love the fact that Ditka still knows how to tell it like it is, and wont' back down for any reason.

When it happened doesn't change that it was wrong though.

Deadspin has even said numerous times she didn't leak the info, that someone else sent it to them.

As far as I'm concerned, Ms. Sterger can do no wrong.

Well Favre did hit the jackpot when he came back for his 42 year in the league so maybe it is time to cash in on a sexual harassment claim.

Yeah, it's Deadspin that made this deal. They got their hands on the info second-hand and ran with it in order to -as they say- avoid being beaten to the punch. They tried to get her to corroborate, but she's dragging her feet. That by itself is a head-scratcher; do you want to hang him or just get some publicity out of it? The NFL has the horsepower to bring pretty much anything (that's not tied up in legal proceedings) to the front quickly. And they've been pretty quiet lately.

Still... couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Her lawyer made a statement that he didn't want this to be done quickly, he wanted it done right. Sure. What you want is exactly what Sterger wants, to stretch her 15 minutes of fame into 15 months. I have no doubt Favre is a perv. I also don't doubt that she had peaked at some point shortly prior to this getting out back in August. I never knew her name before now, now I do. If she keeps her name in the news long enough, I might remember her name in 10 years....

Probably "afraid" to come forward but not too afraid to pose for Playboy.

She posed before that incident I think. Though my timing might be off.

I just wonder what a "sideline host" actually does and how you make the jump from that to having a manager/handler in doing what now?
Also I find it pretty funny that after the Inez, Favre, and Big Ben crap going on the NFL hires Marissa Miller a SI swimsuit model as spokesperson for the nfl.
