Let's hope that he turns out to be someone who can fill a need. We need someone to run block in the backfield.

He's really more of an undersized TE/H-back than he is a fullback. Will T could be interesting if he can stay healthy.

Harvey Unga should be learning the FB position right now during his "injured" red shirt season, IMHO. Because he could be a monster there. He is a real thumper with the ball in his hands, so he's got that insight into running lanes and could use that and his power to set up blocks. Really, if he can play that role along with his running skills, he could save us a roster spot by also being our third HB and give us a legit second running option out of the backfield in FB sets.

Yeah I'd much rather see Williams and Tu'ufo'ou (before injury) at GL FB than Olsen or Manny. I'm still hoping to see Melton in the GL once in a great while. I was wondering about Unga as well-if we can stay balanced he could both save a roster spot and be productive.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

    Restore the roar!

I wonder if Jacob Hester is coming up for free agency this off season. He's been playing now for about three years, so that ought to make it close to time for him to come available. The Chargers will surely not resign him. Does anyone know the status on him?
