    I, for one, am sad to see Chad Pennington get injured like that. He's been productive most of his career that he's been healthy. I guess I'm a fan because he is from my hometown.

    I liked Chad w/the Jets, but w/all his injuries he just lost anything in that arm of his he ever had; and he never stays healthy. It was kind of the same w/Rex too, I liked him at first, but w/the injuries and the dead head/flat front play he just wasn't a good qb. Got to eventually call players, even if you like them, what they are.

    I've always liked and respected Chad. He's a great competitor and carries himself how I think a professional athlete should. His entire career has been beset with injuries. IMO, it's hard to win as a team when your leader is continually hurt, ala Jim McMahon. Neither were the most gifted QB's, but both were/are great leaders.
