Favre has no plans to walk away
Chip Scoggins of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports Brett Favre raised some eyebrows after the Vikings' 31-3 loss to Green Bay on Sunday when he said a couple of times that he wanted to re-evaluate things that evening.
When you're 41-years old and in your 20th NFL season, this could be considered code for re-evaluating whether you want to finish out a 3-7 season that appears all but lost. However, the quarterback attempted to clear up that matter Wednesday as he spoke two days after Brad Childress was replaced by Leslie Frazier as the Vikings coach.
"We have six games left, I hope to finish them all," Favre said. "Make that clear. I want to finish on a high note if my body will allow me and I can play up to my expectations, my standards. I want to do it. After the game, I wasn’t implying that I wouldn’t do it. I want to get this team back on track and that’s my goal.”

He was so much more fun to hate as a Packer than he is as a Viking, but his whiny demeanor lacks a lot to be desired.

I think he's going to be old news real quick. Even if he starts I bet he will sit a bit on the bench.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.
Restore the roar!

But would it not be nice to finally break him when we play the vikings one more time?

Hell, Favre is struggling to pulls his socks up and putting his shirt on. If he can't do those things, I don't know how he plans on throwing the ball on Sunday.

in a world where everyone's more apt to pile on a guy, and beat him into the ground oppinion wise, I choose to remember a guy who's given 20 great years to NFL fans
Love him or Hate him Brett Favre was not just good, he was great. he stayed true to himself, and his gunslinger mentality. the media, and John Madden have done a bang up job of leaving fans with a bad taste in their mouth at the mere mention of his name...
but as a Fan I feel we owe it to the guy to remember him for his play... not the off field BS the media rams down our throats.
everyone is entitled to remember guys the way they want it's a free country.
But I personally get a little irked at people who let the media, and haters lead them around by the nose. if it's truly your oppinion, so be it. . . but I honestly believe most people just say they hate him cause that's what everyone else says, and nobody want's the shit storm of crap that comes with standing on your own away from the crowd.

I remember Fartves on the field play of
335 interceptions
165 fumbles with 73 lost
for a total of 408 turnovers
And just to be fair his 507 TDs for a medocre career QB rating of 86.0
