Yeah... I'm sure this was the first and only time it's ever happened. Looks like McDaniels is taking more pages out of Bellichek's book than we thought.

Just a thought, but perhaps it was McDaniels idea the first time. After all, it was the defensive signals that were taped. If I were the HC, and planning to cheat, I wouldn't just tape one side of the ball.

But Buddy never did come from Ditka's coaching tree Dags. He was here before Ditka arrived and Halas made it clear that he was staying on as DC. On the other hand Sean Payton was a Bears QB under Ditka in the strike year.
