    The excuse for not suspending either Andre Johnson or Cortland Finnegan was that the Texans are scheduled to play on a short week's schedule, and that the league didn't want to create a competitive disadvantage for the Texans against the Eagles.

    As much as I respect Andre Johnson, I don't agree with implementing conditional disciplinary actions. He should have been suspended for throwing punches, regardless of their teams situation.

    It's no coincidence that Finnegan is in most altercations in the NFL.
