    Minnesota Vikings Fartve knocked out of game



    MINNEAPOLIS -- Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre says he has a sprained throwing shoulder and that it's too early to tell if he will make his 298th consecutive regular season start next week.

    The 41-year-old was crushed by Buffalo Bills linebacker Arthur Moats on his first pass play of the game against Buffalo on Sunday, a pass that was intercepted by Drayton Florence.

    Favre was slow to get up and staggered to the sidelines. He was replaced by Tarvaris Jackson on the next series. Favre says he couldn't throw and was unable to return to the game.

    Jackson threw for 187 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions in Minnesota's 38-14 victory over the Bills.

    Favre extended his NFL record by starting his 297th straight regular season game, but lasted only three plays.

    I saw that as it happened. Knew he wasn't getting up. But, now this is all ESPN's gonna be talking about this week, and Chicago "getting another cheap victory because of the refs"

    Honestly, I'd prefer Farve to be the QB when we play them. However, if he can't start next week, I doubt that they play him again. Face it, his streak handcuffs coaches into playing him, otherwise he's just the worst QB in the league.

    What was even better was the fact that they went on to CRUSH the Bills w/TJax.

    We will have to play them like w/did Philly, Contain Tjax to the pocket, don't let him use his legs to extend plays.

    I'm still lost on the "hate Favre" Fetish around here...

    the media is the one Ramming his name and all the Favre coverage down your throats...

    he's a guy who just had too much love of the game to let go. you think it's a money grab?? guy's dont take life changing hits like that for a few $$$... maybe his wife is a money hound, but Brett Favre takes the field for the love of the game. and it's obvious in the way he talks, and the way he plays.

    you guys wanna eat up the dumb shit the talking heads want you to believe that's fine. I try and pay more attention to things like what the guy say's, how he says it, what his actions say about him, and most of all... the eyes man. everyone knows a set of lying eyes when you see em, and you can tell the guy speaks from the heart.

    Too many great qualities you don't find in many players, let alone so many in one. Hating Favre makes you ignorant, and that's really all there is too it.
