Their offense moved the ball, which is unusual this year.

Game should have been over on that deep ball to moss, and the garbage pick would be non issue. Say what you want, I still love Rex Grossman.

technically he should have only had 3 td's...that roughing the passer call was complete bs; which gave them 4 more shots. and in todays NFL you cannot afford to have an almost 1 for 1 td to turn over ratio, which is what he had, 4 td's, 2 int's and a lost fumble.
Rex in the 1st half looked pathetic, 2nd half looked real good(until the last play) same ol same ol, good rex/bad rex.

He keeps playing like that he'll be Skins starter and we'll be playing McNabb twice a year.

I'd be all about having Rex as our Backup. I can hear groans all over the chicago land area as I type that. . .
He's a Solid #2 and will always be on the Cusp of greatness... forever chasing that moment when he makes it "over the hill". sadly it's his little hands that keep him from getting a good grip on the mountain. Poor guy.
When he's got time, and he get's hot he's as good as they come. but he can also be as BAD as they come. LOL.
God I love Grossman. it's like the little engine that could... or something like that.

What I can't believe is that back in 2006 and 2007, there were actually people on this site, loyal Bears fans, who actually thought he was going to be the second coming of Brett Favre or Jesus or something. The fact was that he was, nor is he now, a pro-caliber quarterback. In the one snap he took in the infamous "Two Minute Drill Game", he was sacked and it resulted in a fumble. He looked then just like he did when played in Chicago: a deer caught in the headlights. He's no better now than he was three years ago. The sad thing is, is that he doesn't prepare for games to make the best of his shortcomings, hence the December 31, 2006 Sunday Night Football game at Soldier Field against Brett Favre and the Packers, where he completed I think just one pass and threw three interceptions, at least one of which was a pick-six.
Probably because he displayed a lot of upside in a city that has been starved of good QB play. People forget that he won us some games, too. He beat Seattle in the playoffs on our way to the SB. His problem was consistency and a terrible OC. I can think of many QB's that are worse than Grossman.

Agreed I can think of a lot worse than Rex, and always rooted for the guy. True his OC was pretty bad, but I think his biggest hurdle is mental. He can't pull himself out of funks, if it starts going bad you can almost see Rex overthinking things out there on the field.
DC Radio sidenote: I was listening the other day when they announced Rex would be starter and one of the local radio guys said, how does he replace McNabb? McNabb is a future HOFer, the only thing Rex Grossman is better at than McNabb is looking slightly autistic.
Oh and Robbie Gould won us that Seattle game

It was Rex's pass to Davis that even gave Gould the chance to win that Seattle game, can't have one w/o the other. Rex's pass played a huge part in that playoff win in 06 and so did the 7 games that he had 100 plus passer rtgs in to even get us there as well. when he was bad he was terrible but whenb he was good nobody could stop us.
