Orton doesn't agree with Broncos' decision to go with Tebow

According to Jeff Legwold of the Denver Post, just four months after signing a contract extension that included $8.1 million in guaranteed money and saying Denver "is a place I want to be," Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton believes he's been swept to the curb.
"I'd love to play it out," Orton said. "It wasn't my decision. There was nothing I could do. . . . The way it was presented to me was he'll be the starter the rest of the season and that's just how it goes."
Orton is less than pleased with the turn of events. For half of this season, he was chasing the NFL's single-season passing record. Now, he's on the bench, in all likelihood having thrown his last pass with the Broncos, barring an injury to Tebow.
"You never want to give up your job, you know?" Orton said. "We've worked hard as a unit for a number of months, and you'd like to be able to finish that out with your guys. It's disappointing not to be able to do that."
"I don't know what's going to happen," Orton said. "I do know I'm not the one who's going to be making that decision. I'm not the one who made this decision. But (if) the organization wants to go a different way the rest of the year, then hey, that's just how it is. If I'm back next year, my belief is I'm coming back as the starter.
"Like I've said, I don't think anything I've done with my play warrants anything other than that. But they've made the decision, and I'm not going to fight the decision. It's the decision. I'll just prepare myself to play."

Of course not. How many people, let alone players, agree that them being replaced is the right decision?

3600+ yards and 20 td's to 9 int's he probably has a legit argument to say he wasn't the reason for their losing; but at the end of the day, no reason not to go w/Tebow when the season is over...see what the rook has.

I hope he falls all the way down the depth chart and we pick him back up as a backup.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.
Restore the roar!

I don't see him or Rex ever coming back to Chicago. Neither were happy w/how it ended here...and KO actually said that he learned more in one training camp from Josh McDummDumb then he did while in Chicago. He'll also want to compete for a starting job, which is not happening here.

I'm sure Mikey is pleased with the situation, aren't you, Benji?

He's exactic, he thinks Tebow is the next great thing.

I honestly hope Tebow does well (florida fan), but I hope Orton doesn't go to Minnesota, because they DO have enough pieces in place that he could duplicate those kind of numbers again. On another note, I think it woulda been cooler to have Orton vs. Cutler next year when we play the broncos...

All so we could stomp the shit out of Orton and let him know why we traded his sorry ass in the first place? :)
