It wouldn't take much imagination to see him in purple next season. Picking up McNabb solves asome big problems for them if they want to remain competitive in the NFCN.

That's a possibility, but if they let go of Sidney Rice, that's going to hurt them a lot.

McNabb is not gonna want to be a back up. Webb is gonna start for Minnisota next year and is going to be interesting to watch him develope. I think Webb will make the Vikings competitive again. McNabb is gonna go to a team that will start him.

The Vikings need to draft a QB because Webb isn't the answer at QB for Minnesota IMO.

I will have to disagree. He has put on a good show in the games he has played in. It will be interesting to see how he developes. He maybe another McNabb or even a little Vick like. His passing needs to develope, but still not bad for a rookie WR made QB. Wouldn't trade him for Cutler, but he is gonna be a threat if he developes.

I would imagine McNabb will be in Zona next year he already lives out there anyway and who wouldn't want to chuck it up to Larry?

I agree with you LB. I don't think Webb is their answer either. At least not without a little more seasoning. That's where a guy like McNabb comes in handy. The Vikings can start McNabb and win games with him while Webb gains some experience from watching him and possibly being mentored by him. In two more years McNabb is about washed up as a front line starter and if Webb is their guy he's ready to pick up the reins and step in.
Now all of this is in consideration of the Vikes goind about it in a smart and methodical manner. I think if Frazier remains thier coach that's what will happen. Neither of the two QB's (discounting the sexual deviate) on thier roster has shown an ability to win consistently and adding another rookie to the mix via the draft won't help the situation. They need somebody with experience in my opinion.
Look what happened in the Aaron Rodgers and Kyle Orton situations when they had the time to learn before taking over. If the Vikes are smart they'll go about it in a similar manner and not risk destroying a good prospect in Webb by asking too much of him too early.
