All the same I think the guys a sex addict and has been throughout most of his career. Maybe the reason for the delays on the part of these women is due to the fact that the NFL would be more likely to believe their poster boy icon than they would the women. Now that there has been an investigation that leads to a conclusion that he was guilty of misconduct in the Sterger affair the others have a better chance of winning a lawsuit. Besides, it's unlikely that Favre can be found libel for anything if all he did was to send them text messages that suggested an encounter. It's really more about their being able to sue the Jets for creating a hostile work environment and then firing them from their jobs. That's who the liability claim is most likely to be directed at. Favre was merely the catalyst in the event.
