No, apparently not. Maybe they need a third running back to solve their problems. They obviously can't throw it, so why not run the f*cking ball 50-55 times a game? Hell, why not draft Cam Newton if he goes pro early and have a mobile quarterback to go along with that running attack? Newton won't be a first round draft pick, and I don't know who the top QBs are in this year's NFL Draft. (Jake Locker maybe now that Andrew Luck isn't going pro early?)

their tackles are awesome with Gross and Otah. Their LG is good not great. And everyone seems to be all over their centers nut sack to sign right away in FA. That is a pretty bad ass oline to me lol. And I leave allot to blame on Clausen. When you have an inept qb and you can send all out blitzes all day sure its going to be hard to keep that qb upright. If they had a real qb that knew what to do believe me it wouldnt have looked that bad

Although it wasn't confirmed as of last night I'm guessing they'll work out whatever stumbling blocks remain today sometime and it'll become official. I'm very glad to see Chico finally getting his shot at a HC spot. He inherits some very good players but the QB siutation is a mess and not likely to get better fast now that luck has decided to stay at Stanford.

What they do have going for them is the #1 pick and a clear shot at Peppers replacement in D'Quan Bowers. That's probably the route they should take in rebuilding their defense unless someone makes them an ungodly offer for that pick. There'll be a boatload of good QB prospects available after the first round and although they won't be the equal of Luck someone should be able to show enough to be able to unseat that "pussy" Clausen.

I would probably opt for fixing the qb position with mallet or newton. Sure the DE is bad ass but man that is the least of their issues. They need a leader at qb clausen clearly is garbage

Jake Locker is projected to go in the Top 5 of the NFL Draft in the 1st Round. It's entirely possible that he'll be picked up by the Panthers.

I don't disagree with you but neither Mallet or Newton seem to be ranked anywhere near the #1 spot in the draft. Wouldn't that be the reach of all time if they were to pick one of them? Last I saw I though that Cam Newton was ranked in the 20's for a probable draft position.

With what's getting ready to happen to Auburn football if the NCAA lays the hammer down on the football program, Cam Newton might want to get as far away from the Auburn football program as he possibly can.
