Of course, all of this is contingent on us beating the Seahawks. The dream NFC Championship Game match-up will only happen if we play like we're capable of tomorrow afternoon.
Right, like we let the Bears win the first game by committing 18 penalties. Fact of the matter is you played your starters 4 quarters in a game that was meaningless to you and you lost just like we played like sloppy in the first game and lost.

Touche, Evernight. But the facts are facts. While Aaron Rodgers play well enough in the first game to win the game all by himself, the rest of the team dropped their drawers and played with themselves for sixty minutes, and we benefitted from their mistakes. Even you have to admit that going away from the run in the January 2 Bears/Packers game probably cost the Bears dearly. Cutler wasn't getting sacked in the first half like he would be in the second half when we ran the ball. The Packers defense has one glaring weakness, and that's defending against the run. We didn't exploit that weakness enough, so we screwed the pooch. Maybe Mike Martz will have learned his lesson in the NFC Championship Game if we are fortunate enough to get to play you guys.

Yes I do believe had you actually stuck to a game plan you probably would have beaten us just like I believe had we not committed 18 penalties in the first game we would have won so in the end we're still 1-1 against each other this season.
Our defense definitely isn't strong against the run, but it didn't stop us from winning tonight that's for sure. Get up early and stay up and the other team has to abandon the run. Will that happen vs the Bears? Probably not. But if it does, it definitely tips the balance in our favor as a pass happy Bear offense becomes an interception happy Packer defense. That along with being able to run the ball a little now and our receivers continuing to make plays every week gives us nice balance.
Our only true weakness is on special teams, which can be cured by mimicking exactly what we did in our last game, short controlled high punts that allow the coverage unit to get in position on Hester before he can do any damage. I predict another 7 or less point game (assuming you make it past the Seahags, which I think you will) which could go either way depending on who wants it more.

Anyone up for a rubber match?

I love it. Now ESPN and all the Sports Media talking heads will finally have to give credit to the NFCN if the NFCC game is Bears-Packers. BOTH the favorites, Saints and Falcons blew their chance this year.

They won't think it's "meaningless" if they meet the Pack next week and lose, will they? It couldn't have happened without that Pack win.
EVERY game counts. EVERY game.

Even more so when the Pack wins the SB.
Ok, ok.... or maybe the Bears. Either way... when the NFCN team wins, they won't be able to continue dissing us, eh?

Yeah, if the Bears lose, im gonna be hella conflicted. On one hand...would be nice for the NFCN to win it, while defeating the Pats (most likely AFC team). But on the other....its still the Packers.

Who cares about the last two games the Bears and Pack played. They are over and done with and have no real impact on next week. Bears players are worried about who is in front of them (Seahags). If the Bears and Pack meet next week it will be THE game of the year. Forget the Steelers Ravens or Jets Pats. The Bears Pack game is gonna be hard fought and epic.

So.... I get on CNNSI and some asshole on there announces that Rodger's game today was "Farvian". To show you how much I hang around Bears fan, my first thought was "Hey... Aaron didn't throw any picks, what the f^%$^5k you talking about?".
My second thought was my great, great, great, great, great grandchild is gonna be watching the NFL before they quit talking about the 4" wonder.
