Going for it on 4th down. We did it today, and it worked, but more often than not it's been epic fail. Bellichick cost himself a super bowl doing that, probably cost himself the game today too.
The f*cking Wildcat cost us seven points late in the game. Why Martz had to add that little wrinkle to our offensive playbook is beyond me. I hope he decides to go away from it and NEVER use it again. I was at Hooters watching the game and banged my fist hard on the table when Forte threw that interception.
And what the hell was that that we throw the ball on 4th and 3? What was Martz thinking? I would have gone for a playaction pass and chucked the ball deep if I just had to go for it. Go for the downs, and leave no doubt who the better team was today by running up the score into the 40s.

He added it for one reason: to give the packers something else to try and figure out...more work for them.
God i hate when people completely miss the point. Look at it THIS way: Bellichick's bad idea cost him the game, Martz's cost us a touchdown that wasn't needed at all.
