MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Former San Francisco head coach Mike Singletary is joining former teammate Leslie Frazier on his staff in Minnesota.
Singletary’s agent, Bob LaMonte, confirmed in an e-mail to The Associated Press on Tuesday that Singletary will be the linebackers coach and assistant head coach under Frazier with the Vikings. Singletary told ESPN 1000 in Chicago during a radio interview earlier in the day he’s coming to Minnesota.
Singletary was 18-22 in two-plus seasons in charge of the 49ers, who fired him last month before their final game. He and Frazier were part of the dominant defense that led the Chicago Bears to a Super Bowl title after the 1985 season.
It's going to talk a lot more than that to save that Vikings team (a quarterback, younger defense, the ability to resign their WR's, etc).
“I think he did [tarnish his legacy]. Not only this season, but the last few seasons, going back and forth [on retirement] and bouncing to a few different teams. I think about it, and I have to really think hard to think back to when he was a Green Bay Packer and when he played his best football and was in Super Bowls and when he became the Brett Favre we all know."

A whole lot more help is needed to catch up to the Bears & Packers though!
I think you guys got a great coach there jokr but it's gonna just kill me to see two of the best defensive players on the 85 Bears team wearing purple and gold coaches outfits next season. I hope they can help you turn the team around because both deserve their shots in this league as coaches.
