Signs could be pointing to VY on the Vikings
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...ng-to-vikings/
Paving the way for VY to MN could be the possible hiring of Titans running backs coach Craig Johnson by the Vikings. Darren McFarland of TitanInsider.com reports that
Johnson could be joining the Vikings. McFarland says that Johnson has a close relationship with Vikings coach Leslie Frazier. Also, Johnson was the quarterbacks coach in Tennessee through 2009. Last year, he was moved to running backs coach after Kennedy Pola bailed for USC in the days before training camp.
Though the Titans may want to try to trade Young, the fact that he’s owed $4.25 million on the fifth day of the 2011 league year (which may or may not begin on March 4) coupled with a high base salary in 2011 means that he’ll most likely be cut. Because he has five years of NFL service, he’d be an unrestricted free agent, and thus free to sign with any other team in the league.
If this happens, the Vikings show they have a penchant for QB's that don't take orders from no one.
“I think he did [tarnish his legacy]. Not only this season, but the last few seasons, going back and forth [on retirement] and bouncing to a few different teams. I think about it, and I have to really think hard to think back to when he was a Green Bay Packer and when he played his best football and was in Super Bowls and when he became the Brett Favre we all know."

$10 says VY wouldn't even consider it if Minny didn't play in a dome.

Penchant says they are still trying to replace Culpepper instead of just finding a really good qb.

Vince young actually is a really good qb, with head problems.

I think that's the worst kind of QB. Take a guy like Trent Edwards or Alex Smith, stick him behind a crappy OL, give him 2 games to prove himself? That's how you ruin a QB. Now look at Ryan Fitzpatrick, sure he was on the lowly Bills, but the guy went out and played his heart out, winning them a few games in a season that was lost and didn't matter. He isn't the most talented guy, but I'd rather have him on my team than a talented guy who does t believe in himself.

Vince Young can play but he can never win the tough ones. He'll be perfect in Minny since they can't win them either.

Hmmm... I don't know about that one. I haven't really seen stats where he's effed up a tough game, so I don't really know. All I know is that he has a good average passer rating, completion percentage, and win percentage (with him as QB over when he wasn't starting). So it seems to me that overall he is a good QB. Now having authoritive oppositional reflex is a pretty bad thing though.

If he thought being a Titan made him suicidal, just wait until he's a Viking.

I think there's enough room in that clown car to add Vince Young. Hop in!
