Except he's already been quoted as being upset that he wasn't tagged which means he's upset that he isn't going to get $12 million to play one season of football.....of which odds are he won't make it through without missing time.

and when said No loss if he goes. that is saying he isn't a good player, because good players are a loss if they go-Stop twisting words as per your usual modus operandi.
I said it's no loss because we have depth at that position already, especially with Jolly coming back and with all the info I've already posted (him being injury prone, over 30, etc etc). You're really grasping at straws now.

So jenkins 29 sacks being replaced by jolly's 2 total career sacks is "no loss".. ohh ok.. you are really graspong at staws with this one.. and no player wants to be 'tagged" because they want LONG TERM security not a 1 yr deal( even if its a lot)..

Technically, no contract is long term security.
In the NFL, I would rather be tagged and be paid $12M for one year, than sign a 5 year deal worth X amount unless the amount guaranteed is worth more than that 12M. You could be cut after one year, and could wind up earning less after that one year than you would with being tagged. :D

Considering Cullen has been around 2 full years longer and has played in 96 games since 2004 while Jolly has played in 48 games since 2006.........I would hope his stats would be better. Jenkins is used more as a pass rusher while Jolly was used on downs we needed to stop the run, which is why he put up 49 and 39 tackles the last two seasons he played with us as a starter. Jenkins could probably be a pro-bowler but he's never healthy enough to be one which is why I won't miss him if we have to cut him.

technically that is incorrect
An as any long term contract DOES HAVE GUARANTEES AND A Signing bonus/roter bonus more than the $12 mill that point would be invalid. A 30 mill/ 5 yr dal wold probly hae $14-18 mill guaraneed based on the last few years of deas we have seen, which is why said those numbers, guess next time I should spell out the Whol del so we don't 'spin" these confusions : )

Shhh...he doesn't like it when people use logic on him. I think it makes his head explode.

LOL, twisting facts and logic to suit their own conception of things is ingrained in many Packer fans and in Evernight in particular. If it was Ryan Grant he'd probably say no big deal we've got James Starks to replace him. He lauds the talent in the Packers defensive backfield yet drools over the possibility that they may sign Asomugha. Funny little fellow that Evernight.

Well you should be specific as most deals are heavily back loaded :) That way you will not have to put up with people "taking you out of context"
