Screw Rodgers. He is one of the best, but I'm loving the fact that the two times they beat us he had under 100 passer rating, and a 55 in the NFCC. let him stay in GB.
As for Rice.... I'm thinking we cut Tommie's dead weight ass already and free up some $$$$. Sign rice, and like windy said earlier go after Drake Nevis to compete with Big Toe and Anthony Adams for a starting job.

Why do we need a new DT? We still have Marcus Harrison. Have you guys given up on him?

DT Drake Nevis weighs 285 lbs.
G.B. DT Raji weighs 337 lbs.
Nevis will be tossed aside like a rag doll.

Your kidding right?
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

I'd love to have Sidney Rice but the question I want answered is if he's even affordable with everything else we need to accomplish? If we cut Harris we save about $3 mil but we also have to re-sign Adams or we could be looking for two DT's instead of one or none. What about the Oline? It looks like some of the higher priced alternatives are being franchised so we should be able to fit someone in at OG but I don't see any front line LT's out there and that's what we need.
What about Manning and/or his replacement or a CB?
We've brought up a lot of names here but since we can't sign all of them I'd like to see someone post a reasonable and accurate estimate of who we got after and what it would cost based on a $130mil cap.

If we get Sidney Rice do you think the Bears will look to trade Greg Olsen?
With Rice in the fold the Bears will probably ignore Greg Olsen even more and I think that he is going to leave as a free agent in 2012 because he knows that Martz is not going to throw him the ball.
I know he improved this season, but if we add a big pass catcher we should use his value while we still have it.

Because our GM is Jerry Angleo and some way it will cost us a draft pick.
