Thread: Little Bear's 2011 Mock Offseason

Some thoughts,

1. Jacoby Jones is not a lot better then what we have right now at WR.

2. I think DT in the 2nd is a better pick as their is deeper talent and right now we have more talent at the CB position on the team.

3. Any draft where we get Mike Pouncey is a solid draft.

Nicks and Harris are both 4 year guys and still RFA under 2010 rules. New CBA may change that but both are tendered right now so cost is $$$ plus a pick. I don't care much for Jones and certainly not over Malcom Floyd. Safety and QB aren't real big needs yet so I don't know that they'll do about that.

If we go Oline in the first Dline is a must in the second. Draft a DT in the second and move that CB need down a notch or two. No opinions after that.

The free agents are luxury signings and do not address the need at OL.

Jimmy Smith apparently has been removed from teams boards because he is crazy and he lied about his arrests.

I thought it would be like this:

LT: Chris Williams
LG: Andrew Jackson
C: Kreutz/ Jake Kirkpatrick
RG: Garza/ Herman Johnson
RT: J'Marcus Webb

Do you think Herman johnson is going to be on the 53 man roster? Will Chris Williams be LT or LG in 2011?

Jimmy Smith is probably the biggest character risk in the draft.

To me the OL you suggest is not enough change.

-Williams will probably play LG, I think the team has moved on from him at LT.

-Herman Johnson is some PR trash from a team that has OL problems ask yourself why in 2 years has he not played for the Cardinals?

Kyle Calloway is worse the J'Marcus Webb we cannot keep sifting through the trash bin. If they were drafted in the 6th round and cut it was for a reason.
