Pennington shouldn't have been playing basketball. This sort of thing has happened to so many athletes. As I said earlier in the thread, there was Aaron Boone, who, the winter after hitting the ALCS winning homer against the Red Sox for the Yankees, played a pickup game of basketball and tore his ACL. He didn't stay with the Yankees long after that, because we went out and traded Alfonso Soriano to the Texas Rangers for Alex Rodriguez.
Doesn't mean god doesn't hate good athletes tho.

Soulfood, are you familiar with alchool and the church of Chad? If you were, you would ndrerstand that dude shoulda won the big one in 02, 04 and 06 (as a Bear), but dumbass GM's and coaches (Herm, Herm, Lovie and Jerry) ruined it. Chad Penningotn is a badass.
