Honestly, we will never know the full story. What if it was supposed to be a menage a trois, and she backed out at the last minute/black mailed him, leaving him to look like a cheating bastard when his wife was wanting some of the action? Because there's no more proof of it being him being a cheating basterd than this, I refuse to pass judgment on him.
