What's different? McDaniels didn't want Cutler and tried to trade him then lied to him about it when asked by Cutler himself. Don't think that's what's happening in Cincy Benji.

Cutler was lied to by a new coach, who tried to get matt cassell to come to denver and get rid of him and wasn't wanted- so he demended a trade
Cincy wants palmer, no one lied to palmer..and palmer just basically wants out
I do not see how the 2 are alike at all.

I bet Mikey was happy with everything that transpired. LOL

Both are unhappy with the current situation and both want out. Very similar. Might have taken different paths to get to the point, but very similar.

guess we will just agree to disagree, that being lied to and not wanted on a team that tried to trade you- is very simialir to quitting on a team when a team wants you and no one lied to you..

In that respect yes but if you consider what made them unhappy with the siutation, no. The Broncos (McDaniel's) didn't want Cutler period and attempted to trade him without his knowledge whereas Cincy does want Palmer wasn't trying to trade him. I think Palmer simply doesn't want to play for Cincy anymore whereas Cutler just wouldn't play for McDaniels. He wasn't unhappy being a Bronco before that.
Other than those differences though, they are similar. (eyebrows raised)

Palmer stated in the past he was not happy with the current organizational direction. He wants to play for a winner. Someone who doesn't want to stick it out with the tough times yea, but both are people who want out.

Carson Palmer is a stupid dummy, but he's right to be pissed at Mike Brown. He usually has the keys to one of the top offenses in the NFL, and this last season, had a 1,100 yard rusher (Benson), Terrell Owens AND Chad Ochocinco. If Cincinnati ever puts it together on defense, they will be champions.
That being said, there was a contrast between the two situations. Cutler wasn't in the plans for McDreamy, while Palmer is still viewed as the Alpha and Omega of the Bengals. If Palmer is smart, he would play and wait yet again while the Bengals rebuild their defense. He has the best young WR coming out of college this year who will be suiting up for Cincinnati (A.J. Green), plus if they sign Chad Ochocinco and/or T.O., that's three great WR right there. Who is to say that the Bengals won't bounce back and revert to 2009 form this year?

I would say Atlanta got the best WR in the draft.

You would be the only one who says that, then.
