Rivers has had a HoF TE, and up until last year a HoF RB; and some damn nice wr's to help him out. They also didn't have a horrid D ever....shit didn't they have the #1 O and D last year?

Give me Big Ben anyday....Guy is hard to bring down b/c of his size, he's(on the field) smart, he's got a hell of an arm, and he's a proven winner. Yes he's also had great rb's, and wr's, but I'd take LT and Gates over any weapons Big Ben has had.

Hell I'd put Eli and Rivers on the same level, just under Ben.

If it were not for that defense he would not have any rings.

Yeah, that my problem with Big Ben as well. The Steelers defense is more responsible for those wins than Ben IMO. So if I take Ben out and Eli who to me doesn't have the ferocity and drive to win that I'd like the only other guy I would take is Rivers. However, I'd keep Cutler over any of them. He's far from reaching his peak just yet.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.
