This would be nice so that the Lions or Eagles don't get him. With that Dline the Lions are building putting a guy like Asomugha in their defensive backfield would be a nightmare twice a year.

Houston Texans defensive coordinator Wade Phillips has his work cut out for him as he tries to overhaul a defense that was extremely vulnerable to the pass last season.
He's also trying to install a 3-4 scheme as the primary alignment.

And the Texans are looking to bolster their secondary by making a run at Oakland Raiders free agent cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha, according to NFL Network.

The Texans haven't adequately replaced cornerback Dunta Robinson, who signed with the Atlanta Falcons last year after missing out on Leigh Bodden in free agency a year ago.
Per the report, the Texans will also go after free agent safety Gerald Sensabaugh.
