First PacMan, then Benson, and now White. What is it with these guys. Are they that unhappy to be playing for Cincy that they just walk around in a permanently pissed off state of mind? Maybe the NFL should send them to play in LA the players can spend the week in Folsom Prison on work release, LOL.
Cincinnati Bengals safety Marvin White was arrested in Louisiana on simple assault and disturbing the peace through loud and abusive language charges.
According to the Daily World, White was arrested at his home, booked into jail and is now free on a $1,250 bond.
"Marvin White went to a local child care center to pay a bill for his child and he began to be verbally abusive to the management when the manager assumed he was boyfriend of the child's mother," St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz said. "They asked him to leave. He then made threats in front of the children and other adults there toward the management and made comments to his son's grandmother, who was there to pick up the child."
For his career, White has recorded 142 career tackles, 14 pass deflections and one interception.
White is an unrestricted free agent who played collegiately at Texas Christian and was drafted in the fourth round by the Bengals.
Like the other players arrested during the NFL lockout, it will be interesting to see if White faces punishment from NFL commissioner Roger Goodell under the league's personal conduct policy.
It's like all of their players have douchebag contract escalators built right in when they sign on day 1. They're making a lot of money over there this offseason.
It's incredible. Is it just me or do the Bengals just seem to find either all of the players with criminal tendencies or big mouth showboats like T.O. and Ocho. I mean I wouldn't want to play in Cincy either. It just seems to bring out the worst in players, LOL.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.
