    The NFL and Nascar. Soon to be a blurred line...

    Okay, I do not pay much attention to anything during preseason. Sure, I will watch players, plays, etc..., but, I am a very casual viewer otherwise.

    This brings me to the Giants game. As I was sitting in my recliner I heard something very strange. In the beginning of the third quarter (for TV viewers) was the first down indicator REALLY brought to us by "Lexus"...??? I heard it, I had seen it, but, I still can not believe it...

    Really, they are NOW selling advertising space by way of first down indicators...!!! What is next: This coin flip is brought to you by Gatorade, this replay is brought to you by Nike, the yellow flag on this penalty was brouth to you by D.A.R.E....

    I am just sickened by this as it will not be long before you begin to see ads on jerseys. And in the not too distant future, I can see the IBM Bears, Deans Packers, and Lexus Rams...

    Anything to make a buck I guess...

    Sadly... I've noticed it and for once.... me and you agree on something... pretty sure the devil needs mittens. LOL.
