So much for the productive preseason for Tommie Harris.

The Colts cut the former Bears defensive tackle on Saturday, a league source tells PFT’s Mike Florio.

Harris appeared to be a nice fit in Indianapolis and made a few plays in the preseason.

But there’s a reason the Bears cut him, and the Colts apparently didn’t think he could be productive any longer.

Not much of a shock is it? I don't know if he didn't rehab his knee well enough or if he just got lazy but that's one dude who star crashed and burned pretty fast. He could have been one of the all time greats.

Another example of the modern NFL player. More worried about the cash and fame than his actual on field preformance. Think about it. If you are hurt, you do what you need to rehab and get back to what you love doing. But if you are blinded by the dollar signs you tend to let your health go, by going out and partying or buying crap.
