Morris spent four years in Buffalo and another three with Miami before joining the Patriots as an unrestricted free agent in 2007. He led the Patriots with 727 rushing yards and a career-high seven touchdowns in 2008.
Tate was a third-round draft pick who made 10 starts last season and finished with 24 receptions for 432 yards and three touchdowns. He also returned 41 kickoffs for 1,057 yards with two touchdowns.

Just thought I'd post this because if we're looking to pick up some vet help we'd be better off looking for it from the better teams IMO.
About the only vet of any consequences here is Meriweather who may get a look if the Bears expect Steltz's or Conte's injuries to be more severe than just minor dings. He may have injury issues too.
Of note: One Olineman who was touted frequently before the draft was Marcus Cannon. His stock fell after he was diagnosed with testicular cancer. Apparently his treatment is still ongoing and the Pats have placed him on the reserve list.
