Certainly Randy Moss was an enigma throughout his NFL career, even down this his sudden retirement in July, shortly after his agent Joel Segal pronounced him ready and in “freakish” shape to play this year.
Now comes a report from the West Virginia Metro News that Moss is staying in shape and might be looking at giving football another go in the right situation. Apparently, though it would be on Moss' terms if he returned, as the source indicated that Moss would most likely only want to play for the New England Patriots.
Moss loved the time he spent in New England, and pined for a return, even as he bounced to Minnesota and Tennessee following his departure there.
Would Bill Belichick take on a return engagement with Moss? Probably not, but stranger things have happened. After all, who would have ever imagined Moss in a Tennessee Titans uniform?

It is time for somebody to say it: Randy Moss is one unatractive dude. There. I said it.
