Dirty. What I don’t get is why the refs huddled and clearly were aware of the punch, but didn’t toss Woodson. That’s odd – last November, Richard Seymour popped Ben Roethlisberger and was ejected. The league should hit the Packers where it’ll hurt: suspend Woodson. This obviously won’t be the last punch we see this season, and I sure hope the NFL is consistent. If you’re not going to toss Woodson, the precedent has been set: Nobody gets tossed for punches.
I was very disappointed to see Woodson do that. It's very unlike him. I highly doubt he'll be suspended. Fined definitely, but he's no Harrison and has no records of being fined for things like this in the past so I doubt he gets anything more than a fine.
He clearly punched him, not in the pads or helmet. He gave him a gut punch, where he has no padding. Should of been ejected and suspended. He didn't get ejected because the Packers are clearly Goodell's best friends, nothing will happen. 15k fine maybe.

Who cares where he punched him? A punch is a punch. It's not Woodson's fault the refs aren't aware of the repercussions of what happens when you throw a punch in a game. A fine and nothing more will come of it. If Woodson had a history of being a dirty player maybe a suspension, but he's never done anything of this sort before so the repercussions will be minimal.
A punch is a punch, and he should've been tossed even if he DOESN'T have a history OR if he's ever done it before.
I agree, though, the refs totally shit the bed on that call. Anyone else throwing a punch and getting tossed has a legitimate gripe.
The refs were just flat bad in this game; they gave NO's a few freebee's also. There was an obvious 3 and 1 that they clearly did not make; yet the refs move the ball a full yard farther then where Ingram landed to give them the first.
I agree w/evernight, a fine and no more. Woodson isn't known for being dirty and will get the benefit of the doubt(which is honestly probably what happened w/the punch.
