Carson Palmer to the Raiders now official. Compensation expected to be a 1 in 2012 and a conditional 1 in 2013.
Palmer turns 32 in December and Raiders give up potential 2 firsts for him, Raiders now have 2 picks in the 2012 draft a 5th and 6th. RIP Al.

it's a 1st and a conditional first after that.....the Raiders are going to continue to be run poorly. Palmer is 32, and has not had good performances for years; w/better talent around him. Palmer also didn't want to be around a freak show locker room; so he's okay w/going to Oakland? How bad is Cincy when Oakland is refruge from the freaks?

Waaay to much for him. A 2 and a conditional 2 in 2013 I could see but not a 1. Bengals got a steal of a deal.

This trade is a joke. I'd never trade for Palmer and give a first OR second round pick. This guy is old, overrated and can't lead his team.

It is not like the raiders have a good track record for drafting in the first round either.

Haha, good observation. Only the Raiders could get a J'Marcus Russell while the Panthers get a Cam Newton.
But two 1sts for Palmer is a lot to give up for a 32 year old QB who may have more downside to him than up. I know one is conditonal but if Cincy collects on both that's damn near Cutler's price and Cutler was 6 years younger.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Watch Palmer turn his game around now that he's not on that joke of a team called the Bengals. Still a bad trade but now Cincy can pick up two more future felons.

Draft players from the U and chances are you'll get a few. Everywhere else in America FFA means Future Farmers of America but at Miami it means Future Felons. Brandon Meriweather is well on his way to becoming a serial killer.
