What I want to know is how does sad ass like Mark Snachez wind up with receivers like Plax and Holmes and Cutler gets RWill and Knox? There's no justice in the world.
Because we're stuck with JA, that's why.

We should run the Denver Broncos' spread option offense now that Cutler is out for the time being.

Don't get me wrong. I want to see Tebow succeed. Just not at the Bears' expense. The problem I have with him is that I don't know for sure that he will accept failure as a sort of part of the contract that comes with being a disciple of God. As far as I know, he has never known failure since he's been in the public eye, and now that he is posting moribund statistics and yet still manages to win football games for the Donkeys...I don't know. At some point, the bottom is going to fall out. The defense has carried the day for the Broncos for the past several weeks now, and Tebow has been able to win a lot of shootout games. But what if we get Donovan McNabb and he comes to Chicago and leads us into the playoffs and gets our offense back on track and has a big day again Denver? Will that burst Tebow's bubble and his faith? I hope not for his sake.

The only thing McNabb will be doing when the playoffs roll around is sitting on his ass watching it on TV. Any team that picks him up has to be extremely stupid, especially after all the reports that have come out have said he's extremely out of shape and he clearly doesn't have the ability to play QB at even a mediocre level anymore.

As for Teblow, some imaginary invisible guy has zero influence on how he plays. He better realize this quickly, too, because like Vick it won't take much longer for defenses to start figuring out how to stop him and when they do he's toast. If you can't throw in the NFL you can't win. Period.

So far the reports on McCown haven't been much better and at least McNabb has actually taken snaps from under center in an NFL game this year. I'm not so sure we wouldn't be better off with McNabb since McCown sounds like the second coming of Todd Collins.

It really makes little difference who plays behind Hanie. If Hanie goes down all it will be is playing out the string. Neither McCown or McNabb would help get us into the playoffs.

As for Tebow he can belive in whatever he likes but as you point out until he begins believing in his ability to pass the football he's gonna be very limited in what he can accomplish. Mike Vick couldn't do it with just his feet and a strong arm until he learned how to use that arm accurately.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Not only does he need to believe in his ability to pass but he needs to make his coaches believe as well so they actually feel comfortable allowing him to pass in the first place.
