    Sign him!

McNabb would love to be a Bear. He may not be a great fit in Mike Martz's system, but desperate times call for desperate measures, and I'd take him for $1.48 million backing up Caleb Hanie for sure.

Don't know that either are that great at the moment. But Martz got his guy when he got someone that "knows his system". McNabb cannot say the same.

I would sign a blind deaf armless midget to be my QB before I even considered signing McNabb. You better sign the Soldier Field turf to a big fat contract because it will be by far your best receiver with him at the helm.

He's coming back to Chicago no doubt and if the Bears can't use him the Cubs have promised him a job throwing ground balls to their infielders. Nobody alive could do it better.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.
