Condolences to Joe Philbin and the Packers players
Body of Green Bay Packers coordinator's son found in river - ESPN OSHKOSH, Wis. -- Police have recovered the body of Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Joe Philbin's son from an icy Wisconsin river and said Tuesday that they were trying to figure out how he died. Michael T. Philbin, 21, disappeared early Sunday and was reported missing that night. His body was recovered from the Fox River by divers on Monday, but Oshkosh Police Chief Scott Greuel waited a day to release the name out of respect for the family's privacy.
Sad when tragic things like this happen to any family. It mus be especially difficult for both Philbin and the Packers right now.

Definitely not something you would wish upon anyone. Parents should never have to bury a child. Odds are McCarthy will be having him take some time off regardless of how far the team goes into the playoffs as family should come first. T.J. Lang lost his father on Friday as well. Definitely two horrible events that the team can hopefully pull together and rally around to help them get through. It puts things in perspective....how unimportant football really is in the grand scheme of things.

That is some horrible news. I really don't have words to describe how bad I feel for the Philbins, to be honest with you. I hope that they make it through this okay. It's going to take a long time to cope with the younger Philbin's death.
