    A few things on this:

    1. I don't like to "throw the book" at people, but Greg Williams should be done in football, at least for 5 years. By then, he'll REALLY have to work his way back in. Anything less and he'll make up for it sooner or later.

    2. Every team whose head coach was pulling a Ronald Reagan to his Oliver North should be fined and the team as well. The Saints should be deconstructed in some fashion..

    3. No, the league isn't "p*******", it's GROWING UP. People wanna see passes? They got passes. Players want fewer injuries? You got that too. Fans demand to have it both ways? No.

    4. The shitty packers of the 80s did this shit too, and look what happened to Jim McMahon. They were a bunch of mouth breathing scumbags and these saints have proven to be much the same. No respect for them, and now I don't feel bad for wishing the Bears had played "rock you like a hurricane" during the NFC Championship....

    Thumbs up

    Eric Dikerson on 'OTR' - Off The Record - on TSN, talking about Manning, but sums up bounties perfectly;

    The third play in this clip was a running play where a Saint completely decks Favre. I didn't like then and I don't like it now. It's a running play to the opposite side of the field. If a defender takes a shot at the QB that ISN'T making an attempt at a block then that defender should be flagged. The ball carrier is running the other direction. The shot on the QB is unnecessary. Especially a shot right under the chin.

    FWIW, I find little wrong with the first two hits. Those are fair and not cheap in my opinion. However, hitting a QB on a running play, under his chin, where the ball carrier is no where near the QB is cheap, dirty, and should be penalized heavily.
