Best part of all this is the radio report I heard on the way into work this morning.
"blah blah... Peyton Manning... blah... Broncos... And now the Broncos are looking to trade Tim Tebow and don't really care what they get for him.".

Dolphins got Garrrararararrrrard
I'm neither a Tebow-fan nor a Tebow-hater and I'd like to see the guy find a place somehow somewhere and be successful in some role. For all his lack of QB talent, the guy does have heart and he is tough. As goofy as it was, Tebow-mania made for some fun football watching late last year while we were in post-Cutler meltdown mode (ok, that game we lost in Denver sucked big time and I was there).
I have no idea who's gonna want him and I think he's gonna be really hard to trade for "fair value", whatever that is. He's not exactly plug-and-play anywhere and his religious messianic cult following (which he helped foolishly create) is going to give a lot of GMs pause before bringing him on board. Can you imagine if he landed in a Bible belt place like Tennessee or Jax? His fans are going to drive everyone nuts agitating for him every time the team falters. Most FOs are probably just going to say "not worth the hassle". I think Denver is going to take a bath on this trade.
Lots of players are privately spiritually devout without annoyingly rubbing everyone's face in it (Singletary was a big one in Chicago). Aaron Rodgers is very religious too and I saw a great quote from him last year during all the hype when he advised TT to follow the mantra of St. Francis of Assisi: "Preach the Gospel at all times and when necessary use words."
Anybody know what the Jets gave up for him?
Edit: Nevermind. Should have looked before I asked.
The New York Jets acquired Tim Tebow from the Denver Broncos on Wednesday, bringing the polarizing quarterback to a team that just recently gave starter Mark Sanchez a three-year contract extension.
Denver general manager Brian Xanders said the Broncos will receive fourth- and sixth-round draft picks, while New York gets a seventh-rounder—all in 2012.
So the Broncos get a 4th and the swap of their 7th for the Jets 6th. McDaniels strikes again, LOL. That's getting hosed pretty good on a 1st round pick considering everything else they gave up to move back into the first to draft him.
Next time NE plays in Denver I wonder it Elway will try to hang McD from the Bronco statue on the scoreboard?
Broncos got hosed. No wonder the Jets took him.
Yep

@AdamSchefter Filed to ESPN (1): Denver and Jets have encountered hangup in language in Tim Tebow's contract that could nullify trade.

@AdamSchefter Tim Tebow has $5 million worth of recapture language, meaning Jets would have to pay back money to Denver. Jets might be unwilling. Complex.

@AdamSchefter The same money issues in Tim Tebow's contract caused complications for Jacksonville trying to complete trade. Now Jets facing them.

@AdamSchefter (2) If the Tebow trade to Jets falls apart, St. Louis could wind up getting back into play. Sides sorting through details.

@AdamSchefter Jets-Broncos agreed to Tim Tebow trade before Denver asked NY to pay back portion of bonuses and salary already paid to Tebow. No deal yet.
According to what I read it was in the contract but apparently either not disclosed or not understood. Apparently that's what turned Jax off too.
Here's his Broncos contract;
