I honestly can't believe that Hanie and Omiyale are still on an NFL roster. I don't get it.
Good point. Hanie was straight up released.
And Rex did seem a little timid. Still does. He takes more risks than I'd like. But Rex helped us get to the SB. Hanie couldn't help us get a single win. Compare their stats. I don't think you'll find many to agree with you that Hanie was a more confident player than Rexy. Imagine if we had Rex last year instead of Hanie. Don't you think things would have turned out a little differently.
Rex's problem was his physical ability; both good and bad. You put his confidence and his arm on a person over 6 2 and he'd be a quality qb. But he's to short to see over his line, and therefore just tosses stuff up there; which leads to too many turn overs. Once he got hurt a few times, he started getting scared.
Haine wasn't good for us; but the system was all wrong for him, he was brought in w/RT's O in mind, not Martz's. I never saw him as starter material, but he should have been a decent backup; Martz didn't want him though and gave him no time on or off the field. We'll find out in Den if he's worth a damn.
