Tim Tebow connected with Demaryius Thomas on one of the Denver Broncos' most memorable touchdowns in franchise history.

But the third-year wide receiver wasn't upset to see Tebow shipped out of Denver to make room for Peyton Manning. Thomas said Thursday in an interview with the 2 Live Stews on 790 The Zone in Atlanta that he prefers playing with a prototypical passing quarterback such as Manning.
"It's a business decision," Thomas said, via SportsRadioInterviews.com. "I ain't going to say I was sad because the only thing they remember is that pass. You gotta go back and look at the rest of the games. I wasn't getting no balls and you had to make some of these plays where some players were open and he is not making the throws, but I don't want to talk bad about Tim. But, hey, I am happy we got Peyton."
Thomas, who caught the winning 80-yard touchdown in the Broncos' wild-card win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, finished with 32 catches for 551 yards and four touchdowns in 11 regular-season games last season, but had two catches or less in five of those games. The Broncos struggled in many stretches of the 2011-12 season with Tebow leading the offense.
"You would have people calling him out saying, 'Tim, you gotta make that throw. You gotta read the defenses better,' " Thomas said. "Players on offense trying to get him better."
Thomas also said the considerable coverage Tebow received in the media rubbed some players -- including himself -- the wrong way.
"Everything on ESPN was all about Tim," Thomas said. "That bothered some players, too, because they would say, 'Tim Tebow Time.' I felt like it was a team thing. If it wasn't for the defense most of the time, there wouldn't be no supposed 'Tim Tebow Time.' "
And I'm not suprised by any of this. I'm sure the team was getting tired of the D winning games for them, and all the news being "timmay won".

But didn't we all know that is what the team was thinking; ecspecially the D? Think NE and Det proved that if the D gave way there was no 4th qtr timmey miracles.

Absolutely. The one thing all of thsoe games had in common was that they were all low-scoring. We were two separate plays away from winning the game against the Donkeys last year, had Barber not fucked up, run out of bounds, or fumbled the ball in OT. Tebow was completely lucky on that count, I don't care who says otherwise.

Tebow will rarely see the field with the Jets. He officially sucks.
