Favorite Super Bowl Party you've been to...

Post any memories you have of the SB parties you've been to. Mention your favorite and least favorite experiences if you'd like.

For me, I was at a Lamppost Pizza SB party to watch the XXV Super Bowl (1991). It was the Giants versus the Bills. My good friend was a Giants fan at the time, he was from NY. So I joined him and his brother with two other friends to eat and watch the big game. The place was crowded when the game started. Every few minutes people would cheer for this or that. I think the Bud Bowl was still taking place at halftime back then. You guys remember the Bud Bowl? It was weird because by the time the 4th quarter came around the pizza place was looking pretty empty. I couldn't understand it. People left every few minutes. The game came down to a field goal at the last seconds of the game. There was literally only ten people left in the place, including the two employees. It felt like we had rented the place for our own SB party. It was awesome. The Bills missed the field goal at the clocked ran down to 0. Giants won and my friends went ape-shit. Most memorable SB for me.

Mine's a tie. Pitt v Sea; best food I've ever ate at a SB party. it was also such a shitty game I was blasted by 1/2 time and kinda spilled the beans that my wife and I were expecting our first kid; then the rest of the 1/2 time was getting yelled at by my wife, and then calling the rest of the family to let them know.....I don't remeber the rest of the game to much, I remember the vodka bottle I came with being empty and in the trash on my way out though.
2nd was the Indy/Chi game. It was a easy 50-50 split fan crowd; and it was the week before I moved down to SA, so it was a bit of a good bye party for my friends and I as well.

Sadly, most Superbowl parties for me tend to be rather unremarkable and forgettable....they all kinda blend together in a blurry haze of mediocrity...

Can't stand Superbowl parties. Usually filled with a bunch of people who don't really ever watch football talking about a bunch of shit that has nothing to do with. Used to be mostly women but I've noticed there is a lot of men now that don't follow sports either.

I still remember Superbowl XX pretty vividly. Great party w/ only about a dozen friends there. I was the only Bears fan, and there was 1 Patriots fan. EVERYBODY knew who was gonna win.

Patriots fan went nuts when they finally scored. I recall pointing a fan towards him and then inserting about 5 pretzels into the back.....came out like a shotgun.

I do recall getting mad when the Fridge got his TD, thinking it should have been Payton's, but at that point it still seemed feasible to score another TD or two, haha. Stayed up all night and took a shower with the girl I had a crush on in HS (this was freshman year of college).

    Good times.
