Geez I don't know about that. Marshall has been pretty consistent everywhere he's been. He's been playing with some very average QB's the last few years and it hasn't hurt him much. His only two years with Cutler were 2007 and 2008 and those were his two best years. After that it was Orton, Henne, and Moore. No Rodgers or Brady's in that bunch yet he still had at least 1000 yards receiving every year.

Apparently I'm smoking the good stuff. Maybe you should upgrade to the stuff I use because your characterization of the Bears is bordering on the ridiculous. Our offense already showed what it could do during that 5 game win streak with Cutler. That's what we're building on this season, not the 5 games that had Hanie and no Forte. The personel on our offense has been upgraded and there should be no problem at all with Cutler getting this offense to put out 30+ pts a game.

And we also saw what happens to Jay when the OL blows up and Jay keeps taking a beating like he has the previous 2 years. Unless we have an major upgrade in the OL we will still have problems. Second I am not sold on Mike Tice. He did not show me anything over the previous 2 years other than lead the league in sacks. Third we still have that stubborn HC running the show and that is the achilles heal of this team. Forth we brought in players the previous 2 years and failed bigtime with them.

I keep trying to drill this into heads but they don't listen. It's like they completely gloss over the fact that you guys did squat with your offensive line this off-season once again, which was by far the biggest weakness on your offense. You can add all the receivers you want, but it doesn't matter if your QB doesn't survive long enough to throw them the ball.

I somehow don't see Tice being the big savior here. In his tenure with the Queens, he basically relied on Culpepper throwing the deep ball to Moss all game. If that didn't work, they were pretty much done. Once Moss diva'd his way out the door, their offense disappeared entirely.

Jay didn't take a beating in that 5 game win streak. Its also a bit unfair to attack Tice for sacks given up, when Martz's offensive scheme produces a ridiculous amount of sacks because of how long some plays take to develop. How many times does this need to be pointed out?

They're getting people back on the line this offseason and they are expecting better play from guys this year, WHO SAW THEIR FIRST REAL TIME ON THE FIELD LAST YEAR.
