    Ex-Bears QB Enderle signs with Jaguars

    Former Chicago Bears quarterback Nathan Enderle, released last week after the team's final minicamp session, has signed with Jacksonville, the Jaguars announced Thursday.

    The 6-foot-4 Enderle, selected by the Bears in the fifth round of the 2011 draft after being scouted by then-offensive coordinator Mike Martz, spent his rookie season on the team's active roster but never appeared in a game.

    Enderle's exit gives Matt Blanchard, an undrafted rookie free agent from Wisconsin-Whitewater, an opportunity to be the Bears' fourth quarterback in training camp. Blanchard will not challenge veteran Josh McCown for the No. 3 job behind Jay Cutler and Jason Campbell, but a strong showing could lead the Bears to consider a role for him on the eight-man practice squad.

    Nathan did nothing wrong but get drafted by the wrong team b/c they had the wrong OC. I wish him the best in his future endeavors. He didn't cost the Bears games by his poor play or his attitude. GL lil man.

    It is true. He's the worst looking of all the young QBs. I remember back in the 80s, most QBs looked like Gabbert their first 2 years. This guy just looks like a turd...and also a pole smoker. BBPB has to call it like he sees it.

    If only Jerry had been cut a few years ago these qbs we have taken over the last few years might have a chance to survive in the NFL.
