Tennessee Titans Kenny Britt - DUI Arrest

Yet another arrest this offseason, this time Titans WR Kenny Britt.

At this point, are we even surprised when it happens? Well, we shouldn't be. As first reported by radio station 104.5 The Zone, Tennessee Titans receiver Kenny Britt was arrested for a DUI at Fort Campbell, Kentucky on Friday morning. According to the initial report, Brit and teammate Tommie Campbell were bringing a female soldier back to the army base when they were stopped at the security gate.

It is Britt's eighth incident involving police since he became the first Rutgers player ever selected in the first round of the NFL Draft in 2009.
"I'll be the first to admit I got caught in some difficult circumstances, and made some bad decisions in my past," Britt told the Nashville Tennessean in May. "But all that changed me as a person, and I learned from it and got stronger from it.."

"He has a different view of life," teammate Nate Washington said of Britt just a few weeks ago. "He's spending a lot of time with his family and with his teammates, staying out of unnecessary trouble. I really don't worry about any of these guys. They understand that it's a job now for them and not school days. You can't have any wild fun now. You're grown men."

Not gonna lie, after how ever long a suspension he gets, I'd pick him up in a heartbeat (behind Sanz tho, lol)

What's with these guys and their DUI's. You guys make millions. hire a God damn driver for cryin' out loud. You could pay him a years salary just on part of one game check you lose by getting suspended.

Well unless your Marshawn Lynch. He can only afford an Econoline van full of weed. The weed was probably worth more than that POS van.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

I was mostly joking, cause if I'd put a number 1 WR after Sanz, I wouldn't really wanna use him all that much (no disrespect to Sanz at all)

Like how they use some scare tactics to keep rookies in line, I think these drunk drivers should be FORCED to sit through horrible aftermath videos and pictures and hear stories from people who lost loved ones to drunk drivers. I haven't, but several people I know have, and their hearts have not healed from it yet. To go another step further, I think:

    1) DUI, even first time, should result in a worse suspension that simple assault or second time drug test failures.

    2) The second time, Good Bye! Nice to get a few years out of ya.

DUI is the MOST easily preventable cause of death, and like you said soul, these ******* make millions (it's hardly ever the minimum salary guys that do this), and if choose to forgo a taxi, limo, WHATEVER, I have no sympathy for the league's punishment.

It is easier to be young, drunk and stupid and when their career is over they end up going to prison or moving back into mom and dad's home broke.
