No but contracts start at the top and filter down...it will effect how he gets paid. And Flacco is not seen as Brees/PManning/Brady...so that puts him in the 2nd group, so if the 2nd group is worth 100mill, what is the 3rd group worth? 70? 80? 90 mil?

If 2nd group is worth 120 (Flacco) 3rd would be about 100..... and those in the top group is about 130/140....

And that is saying something Benj. I'm not sure that Cutty is worth 100mil if he cannot show EXTREME improvement this year.

I love me some Cutty (despite my jabs at him) and I do want him to stay. He is in that third level, and with Flacco's (who is in the second) deal, that sets a brand new market. The great/elite guys will get more, the guys on the same level will get about that much, the guys below will use that as a measuring stick as well. Looking at Matt Ryan and the extension he might get soon would be a better measuring stick for him though.
