I purchaed a few packs and pulled some great cards and since then I've been hooked. I would concentrate on collecting a specific player or team......trying to collect everything will exhaust you.

I just posted a thread with a few things of my own. I have a Richard Dent autographed jersey, a personalized Doug Atkins autograph that was made out to my late great uncle Junior, and the official Super Bowl XX commemorative poster for the Bears.

You have some seriously nice stuff here, man. I'm still in college or I would spend more of my own money collecting autographs, memorabilia, and stuff like that. I have more baseball material, most specifically the New York Yankees, than I do of the NFL or the NBA. I want to purchase a Bobby Hull autographed jersey next month on E-bay that this guy is having a difficult time selling.

Of the baseball stuff that my dad and I own, he has three Mickey Mantle and two Whitey Ford autographs, while I have a Yogi Berra, a Derek Jeter, a Don Mattingly, and a Willie Mays autographed ball. The Mays ball was signed in person, so I don't have a certificate of authenticity for it. I have a Pat Summitt Lady Vols basketball autographed that commemorates her first six NCAA Championships she won. (She has since won two more and may well win some more in the coming years.) There is also a Johnny Majors autographed picture from when he coached the University of Tennessee football team. I also have an autograph from the late 1970s of the Philadelphia Eagles, and I know that it's from the late '70s because Vince Papale is on it, along with Dick Vermeil and Ron Jaworski, so it had to have been signed between the 1976 and 1978 seasons. I have an autograph of Larry Bird that you can barely see the writing because my uncle didn't have Bird sign his name with either a Sharpie Pen or a paint marker. Lastly, I have two glass Coca-Cola bottles commemorating Bear Bryant breaking Amos Alonzo Stagg's all-time wins record while he was coaching at the University of Alabama.

Oh, I do have a commemorative Bears pennant from Super Bowl XX too.

Also inherited from my great uncle were autographs of Don Knotts and Chet Atkins. I'll keep them, but they aren't exactly my main prizes.
