    Site running slow?

    Maybe its just me...but the site seems to be running kinda slow the last couple days. Had some trouble with mysterious double posts (mats had it too in a thread after my post), pages sometimes take forever to load. I figure it has to be the site since all the other websites load normally for me.

    I noticed that DBS mobile is down, which coincides with the site running slowly for the last few days. Wonder if they are related.

    I haven't noticed it, but I haven't been on much either. Stupid military had me away from home.. :D

    Anyway, there are peak times and it's not always logged in members. Spam bots have been trying to get into this site by the masses. Also search bots have been on here a lot.

    I'll keep an eye on this and please let me know if you still notice the site being slow. Nothing has changed on here other than the mobile site isn't here.

    I removed the mobile site because it was very ugly IMO. In the future we will be offering free apps for the iPhone and Droids...

    Yeah, it was ugly, but it was fast. Trying to view the full site from my blackberry is very difficult and time consuming. The mobile site was much easier and less cumbersome.
