I am beginning to get royally and righteously pissed off after spending 15 minutes posting and preening a new thread to see that message come up (Internal Server Error) and then lose all of the work I've done.
Would somebody please tell me why the fuck this site keeps doing that when it never happens to me anywhere else but here? WTF are we paying a host for if several times a week this shit happens. It just fries me when I lose all that I've posted to crap like this.
If this host can't eliminate this problem guys get one who can. I'm sick and tired of wasting my time because of it.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

I think I've been lucky in that regard as I've never had an internal server error when I post. Not on pic's articles, or anything. I do have my browser lock up only on here though frequently. Perhaps they are related.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.
That's why I've gotten into the habit, when making (or what turns out to be) a long post, I'll select the whole post and copy to the clipboard before posting. Then, when that error comes up, I just go back and click paste and try again.
It's a shame we have to do this. But until it's better, I do the above and avoid the headaches.
That's why on anything longer than a couple of lines I highlight the entire text, click "copy" and then "post". If it ISE's, I have a copy I can paste back in after I reload. It only happens once in a very great while for me, but when it does it always seems to be very VERY long posts. Try cutting down the size of your reply.
