Hey this BOARD is getting SLOW ... Like Dialup slow.
I tried six times to get into the chatroom during DA BEARRSSE- Green Bay game.
It locked up and was not responding everytime.
Every other board on the Internet was working just fine.
So its this board.
Time to buy some more APACHE servers to keep up with demand?

Although, i really do miss the old Chatroom :(

Yeah I miss the old chatroom also ... and thats where the slowdown seems to be on my end. It locksup if I try to go there.
But overall the Board is slowing down on my end overall, compared to last year.

There does seem to be a bit of lag recently. Not just the chatbox, but the entire board. Logging in takes much longer than usual. Maybe the server folks have hired TSA to review registrations or something.

It's just slower on gameday ... right now it works fine. But this isnt game day.
On gameday it REALLY slows down and to the point that you get an alarm from Microsoft that says the system cant handle the volume.

Damn, the only time I come here on gameday is when they lose. Maybe i should limit my ocd posting to 6 days a week.

The board is slow. Or it might just be me because I live in Denmark but I doubt it. But sometimes when I try to post or well just being active on the site, the pages loads really slow, while my other browers load fast. It might just be me, and I can handle it but since there was a thread about I just wanted to point out that I do have some problems now and then.

It's not just you. The site was loading at glacial speeds for me yesterday. Not the first time in the last few weeks and I have the Superfan thang so it's not advertisements slowing it down. Today the lag isn't so bad - just a few seconds, mostly when posting.

Hey guys what's going on with us here. The download and upload speeds are horrible. I can't even connect to the site sometimes in less than two minutes and I'm getting constant delays and server errors on attempts to reply to posts.
This wasn't happening a month ago or even a week or two ago. Has our membership out stripped our server capacity?
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Yeah I'm not sure if you noticed but we have gone up roughly 2,000 members in about a month and a half with the official site making their changes (over 9k members now). I haven't been available to get on during games to see how slow it is being, but it is something we will look into and I will talk to Ski about for sure.
